[infographic] Brands Born in the US

Posted on November 13, 2014

Awhile back, Forbes released an article, “the World’s Most Valuable Brands.” As I scrolled through this list, I noticed something: all of the top brands originated in the United States. Now, of course, other brands originated in other countries, most notably China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and Sweden. But, by far, the United States had the strongest brands.

So we started researching the origins of these strong brands, the cities, states, and dates of birth.

Feeling creative, we decided to make a map of my findings. Each of the following brands match with the state they were born in.

But, to make things a little more interesting, some states do not match. For all you experts out there, can you name the states that do not match with their brands.
